Compensation: $25/hour

We’re looking for a collaborative, people-centered Human Resources Manager to join our team and oversee HR operations across our three cannabis retail locations. This role is pivotal in fostering a healthy, compliant, and engaging workplace culture.

About the Role

As the HR Manager, you will handle all aspects of human resources, including:

  • Employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline
  • Payroll administration and timekeeping oversight
  • Scheduling for multiple locations
  • Benefit administration and employee communications
  • Performance management, including evaluations and development planning
  • Onboarding, recruiting, and conducting interviews
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, state laws, and industry regulations
  • Serving as the main HR point of contact for employees and leadership

This is a full-time, on-site position that requires sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout the day. Occasional travel between store locations within Portland is also required.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Required:

  • 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in retail or multi-location operations
  • Knowledge of Oregon employment law, payroll practices, and progressive discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and scheduling/timekeeping systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent


Preferred:

  • Experience in the cannabis industry
  • Associate’s degree or higher in a related field

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time hours, Monday - Friday, with some flexibility
