Human Resources Manager
Location: Portland, OR — On-site, serving three retail locations
Compensation: $25/hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly

We’re looking for a collaborative, people-centered Human Resources Manager to join our team and oversee HR operations across our three cannabis retail locations. This role is pivotal in fostering a healthy, compliant, and engaging workplace culture.
About the Role
As the HR Manager, you will handle all aspects of human resources, including:
- Employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline
- Payroll administration and timekeeping oversight
- Scheduling for multiple locations
- Benefit administration and employee communications
- Performance management, including evaluations and development planning
- Onboarding, recruiting, and conducting interviews
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, state laws, and industry regulations
- Serving as the main HR point of contact for employees and leadership
This is a full-time, on-site position that requires sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout the day. Occasional travel between store locations within Portland is also required.

Required & Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in retail or multi-location operations
- Knowledge of Oregon employment law, payroll practices, and progressive discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and scheduling/timekeeping systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience in the cannabis industry
- Associate’s degree or higher in a related field
Compensation & Benefits
